REPUBLIC ACT No. 11182

An Act Removing the Date of "Catarman Day" to August 30 of Every Year, Amending for the Purpose Republic Act No. 9203, Entitiled "An Act Declaring the Fifteenth (15th) Day of August Every Year as a Special Nonworking Holiday in the Municipality of Catarman, Province of Camiguin, to be Known as "Catarman Day"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippine Congress Assembled:

Section 1. - Section 1 of the Republic Act No. 9203 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 1. August 30 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the Municipality of Catarman, Province of Camiguin, to commemorate its foundation day anniversary, to be known as 'Catarman Day'."

Section 2. - The Municipal Government of Catarman in the Province of Camiguin shall disseminate to oits component barangays, as well as to the Provincial Government of Camiguin, through means it deems proper and expedient, the change of the date of Catarman Day, for proper coordination of activities.1âwphi1

Section 3. - The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
