[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8849, August 22, 2000 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE JOSE DE VILLA MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN MANGUIRING, CALABANGA, CAMARINES SUR INTO THE JOSE DE VILLA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The Jose de Villa Memorial High School in Barangay Manguiring, Calabanga, Camarines Sur is hereby nationalized to be known as the Jose de Villa National High School.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 2. All personnel, records, equipment, building, facilities and other properties of the Jose de Villa Memorial High School are hereby transferred to the Jose de Villa National High School.

Section 3. The amount necessary for the initial implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Calabanga National High School- Barangay Manguiring Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continuous operation and maintenance of the Jose de Villa National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on March 27, 2000 and June 8, 2000,  respectively.
