[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8830, August 22, 2000 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE EXISTING BAYANIHAN HIGH SCHOOL IN SITIO SICUD, BARANGAY CANDAWAGA, MUNICIPALITY OF RIZAL, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CANDAWAGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The existing Bayanihan High School in Sitio Sicud, Barangay Candawaga, Municipality of Rizal, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Candawaga National High School.

Section 2. All personnel, records, assets and properties including buildings, sites and improvements thereof, obligations, funds and appropriations of the Sicud Bayanihan High School are hereby transferred to the Candawaga National High School.

Section 3. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to carry out the provisions of this Act.ℒαwρhi৷

Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 8, 1998 and May 22, 2000, respectively.
