[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6057, August 04, 1969 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SURIGAO, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of the Bureau of Vocational Education, a school of arts and trades in the Municipality of Surigao, Province of Surigao del Norte, to be known as the Surigao del Norte School of Arts and Trades.

Section 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

Section 3. The sum of seven hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy. Such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.1a⍵⍴h!1
