[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6043, August 04, 1969 ]

AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THE BURGOS-GOMEZ-ZAMORA CENTENNIAL COMMISSION CREATED BY EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE DATED OCTOBER TWENTY-EIGHT, NINETEEN HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. The sum of five hundred thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any fund in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be disbursed by the Burgos-Gomez-Zamora Centennial Commission to carry out the purposes and objectives of Executive Order Numbered One hundred fifty-five dated October twenty-eight, nineteen hundred and sixty-eight: Provided, That the overhead expenses shall not exceed twenty per centum of the appropriation herein provided.

Section 2. The books, publications, stamps, medals, and other memorabilia issued or published by the Commission shall be sold at cost to the public, and the proceeds therefrom are hereby made available for expenditure of the Commission.

Any unexpended balance of the sums herein appropriated after the Commission has completed its work including all receipts of the Commission shall be reverted to the general funds of the National Treasury.

Section 3. The Commission shall render an annual report of its activities and accomplishments to the Congress fifteen days before the opening of the regular session.

Section 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval1a⍵⍴h!1.
