[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5826, June 21, 1969 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A GENERAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUPI, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, TO BE KNOWN AS SOUTH COTABATO GENERAL HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a twenty-five-bed general hospital in the Municipality of Tupi, Province of South Cotabato, to be known as South Cotabato General Hospital. The site for the said hospital shall be determined by the Municipal Council of Tupi in consultation with the Director of Medical Services.

Section 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital for the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.1a⍵⍴h!1
