DECLARING FRIDAY, 20 SEPTEMBER 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, Josefa Llanes Escoda, a World War II heroine and the founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, was born on 20 September 1898 in Dingras, llocos Norte;

WHEREAS, on 20 September 2019, Friday, the Municipality of Dingras, Province of llocos Norte, will mark the birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Dingras be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 20 September 2019, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingras, Province of Ilocos Norte.1âшphi1
