DECLARING MONDAY, 11 FEBRUARY 2019, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAOAG, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, on 10 February 2019, Sunday, the City of Laoag, Province of llocos Norte, will mark the celebration of the Pamulinawen Festival;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Laoag, to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 11 February 2019, Monday (instead of 10 February 2019 which falls on a Sunday), be declared a special (non-working) day; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Laoag, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 11 February 2019, a special (non-working) day in the City of Laoag, Province of Ilocos Norte.1âшphi1
