DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MASBATE

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Masbate was declared as a component city of the Province of Masbate by virtue of R.A. 8807 dated September 30, 2000;

WHEREAS, Wednesday, September 30, 2009, marks the 9th Cityhood Anniversary of the City of Masbate;

WHEREAS, in order to give the residents of the City of Masbate, the opportunity to celebrate the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare September 30, 2009 as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, September 30, 2009, as special (non-working) day in Masbate City.1aшphi1
