DECLARING FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE

WHEREAS, Friday, July 31, 2009, marks the 109th Anniversary of the Battle of Paye in the Province of Marinduque;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Marinduque be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GABRIEL S. CLAUDIO, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, July 31, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Marinduque.1aшphi1
