RESERVING FOR MUNICIPAL CEMETERY SITE PURPOSES, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN BARANGAY MAASIN, MUNICIPALITY OF BROOKES POINT, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, ISLAND OF PALAWAN

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settlement and reserve a certain parcel of land of the public domain as Cemetery site purposes for the Municipality of Brookes Point, situated in Barangay Maasin, Municipality of Brookes Point, Province of Palawan, Island of Palawan under the administration of the Municipal Government of Brookes Point, containing an area of Forty Five Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Seven (45,727) Square Meters, more or less, subject to private rights, if any there be, and more particularly described as follows:

Brookes Point Cadastre

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 6058, Cad.796-D) situated in Barangay Maasin, Municipality of Brookes Point, Province of Palawan, Island of Palawan.

Bounded on the North, along line 1-2 by National Highway; on the East, along line 2-3 by Road; on the South and West, along line 3-4-1 by Lot No. 6057, Cad. 796-D.

Beginning at a point marked “1” on the plan, being N. 43-31E., 18,446.14 m. from BLLM No. 1, Cad. 796-D, Brookes Point Cadastre, thence:

N. 87-09E., 199.26 m. to point 2;
S. 04-27W., 244.68 m. to point 3;
S. 87-46W., 178.88 m. to point 4;
N. 00-18W., 241.05 m. to point of

beginning. Containing an area of FORTY FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN (45,727) SQUARE METERS.1aшphi1 All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by PLS cyl. conc. mons. 15 x60 cm. Bearing true. This plan Cad. 796-D was surveyed on January 1 to March 30, 1984 by Rufo N. Norada, Geodetic Engineer in accordance with the law and existing regulations promulgated thereunder, and was approved on November 16, 1985.”

The tract or tracts of land reserved under the provisions of Section Eighty-Three, Chapter XII, Title V of the Public Land Act shall be none-alienable and shall not be subject to occupation, entry, sale, lease or other disposition until again declared alienable under the provisions of this Act or by proclamation of the President.
