DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA.

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 19, 2008, marks the 147th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose P. Rizal, our national hero;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Laguna and the City of Calamba be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies keeping with his ideals and teachings.

NOW, THERFORE I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, June 19, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Laguna and the City of Calamba.1aшphi1
