DECLARING JULY 27, 2007 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS “FELIX MANALO DAY”

WHEREAS, Friday, July 27, 2007, marks the 93rd foundation day of Iglesia ni Cristo;

WHEREAS, Felix Manalo founded Iglesia ni Cristo on July 27, 1914 and his contribution in strengthening the faith of the Filipino people is invaluable;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to honor and emulate the exemplary leadership of Felix Manalo and to give the members of Iglesia ni Cristo full opportunity to commemorate the day with appropriate ceremonies.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby declare July 27, 2007 and every year thereafter as “Felix Manalo Day”

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
