DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BORONGAN, EASTERN SAMAR

WHEREAS, Commission on Elections will conduct the plebiscite on Wednesday, June 26, 2007, to convert the Municipality of Borongan, Eastern Samar into a component city to be known as the City of Borongan;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the Municipality of Borongan ample time to exercise their right to vote, there is a need to declare Wednesday, June 20, 2007 as special (non-working) day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 20, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Borongan, Eastern Samar.1aшphi1
