DECLARING MONDAY, JUNE 18, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MATI, DAVAO ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, Commission on Elections will conduct the plebiscite on Monday, June 18, 2007, to convert the Municipality of Mati, Davao Oriental into a component city to be known as the City of Mati;
WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the Municipality of Mati ample time to exercise their right to vote, there is a need to declare Monday, June 18, 2007 as special (non-working) day.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, June 18, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Mati, Davao Oriental.
