DECLARING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21, 2004, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CALAMBA, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9019 dated March 3, 2001, provides for the conversion of the Municipality of Calamba, Laguna into a component city to be known as the City of Calamba;

WHEREAS, the City of Calamba will be celebrating its 3rd year anniversary as a city on April 21, 2004;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the City of Calamba, Province of Laguna be given full opportunity to participate in the various activities lined-up for the occasion.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, April 21, 2004, as special (non-working) day in the City of Calamba, Province of Laguna.
