DECLARING THE THIRD WEEK OF APRIL OF EVERY YEAR AS “NATIONAL JAYCEE WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Junior Chamber of the Philippines (Jaycee) is a voluntary organization of young men striving to build a better nation and to develop better citizens in our nation;

WHEREAS, it is a time-honored truism that “the youth is the hope of the fatherland” and that one of the tenets of the Jaycee Movement is that “service to humanity is the best work of life”.

WHEREAS, the Jaycee needs the Governments support to enable it to attain its organizational mission, vision, and goals.

NOW THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the third week of April of every year as “National Jaycee Week” under the auspices of the Junior Chamber of the Philippines.

I call upon all agencies of the government, professional, civic and religious organizations, and the mass media to extend their wholehearted cooperation with and support to the Philippine Jaycee Movement in this laudable endeavor.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
