[ Proclamation No. 95, March 1, 1999 ]

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 810, SERIES OF 1991 WHICH RESERVED FOR ZAMBOANGA CITY GOVERNMENT CENTER SITE PURPOSES A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN POBLACION, CITY OF ZAMBOANGA, ISLAND OF MINDANAO

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 810, series of 1991, reserved for Zamboanga City Government Center site purposes a parcel of land with an area of about 1,191 square meters situated in that city;

WHEREAS, the Zamboanga City Government has not been able to use the area for the purpose for which it was reserved mainly owing to the fact that the same is occupied by private individuals;

WHEREAS, it is more beneficial to the City Government of Zamboanga if the same property be conveyed to the city by way of a grant.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 810, Series of 1991, by conveying and transferring the same, by way of grant, in favor of the City of Zamboanga, for such purposes or uses it may deem necessary, provided that the same shall be subject to private rights, if there is any, and provided finally that it shall not be alienated, encumbered or otherwise disposed of in a manner affecting its title, except when authorized by law.1aшphi1
