DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 1999, AS A SPECIAL DAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY

WHEREAS, April 3, 1999, falls on a Saturday, between Good Friday and Easter Sunday;

WHEREAS, the said day, April 3, 1999, may be declared a special day without detriment to public service to allow our people uninterrupted opportunity to observe and ponder on the significance of lent.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, April 3, 1999, a special day throughout the country.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
