AUTHORIZING THE FOUNDATION FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Foundation for Youth Development in the Philippines, Inc. (FYDP), was authorized under Proclamation No. 1053 dated August 7, 1997, to conduct a national fund campaign up to August 7, 1998;

WHEREAS, the FYDP needs more time to conduct its fund drive;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Foundation for Youth Development in the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
