DECLARING FRIDAY, JANUARY 8, 1999, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MOLAVE, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, will commemorate its GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION on January 8, 1999, Friday;

WHEREAS, the GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION aims to proclaim to all the people of Mindanao, in particular, and to the Philippines, in general, the message of peace, unity and progress, rooted in charity, social justice and faith;

WHEREAS, in line with the message of peace, unity and progress from the people of Molave, the local officials prepared various cultural and social activities to be participated in by the officials and employees of local and national agencies of government and non-government sectors;

WHEREAS, to enable the residents of the Municipality of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, to actively participate in the various cultural and social activities, and to give them ample opportunity to reflect on the Golden Jubilees Theme, there is a need to declare January 8, 1999 as a special non-working holiday;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, hereby declare Friday, January 8, 1999 as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Molave, Province of Zamboanga del Sur.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
