DECLARING THE SECOND WEEK OF NOVEMBER OF EVERY YEAR AS “NATIONAL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY WEEK”

WHEREAS, it is imperative to draw public attention on the diagnostic and therapeutic uses of radiation and the accompanying radiation hazard protection; and

WHEREAS, it is also fitting and proper to focus public attention on the different modalities used in radiology;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the Second Week of November of every year as “National Radiologic Technology Week” under the auspices of the Philippine Federation of Professional Radiologic Technologists, Inc.

I call upon all radiologic technologists and students to give the observance of the week their full support.1aшphi1
