AUTHORIZING THE YOUNG WOMENS CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Young Womens Christian Association (YWCA) of the Philippines has for the last fifty (50) years been deeply and actively involved in. the physical-leadership-spiritual-socio-cultural and economic development and empowerment of the Filipino women, youth and girls;

WHEREAS, the YWCA has thirty-four (34) local associations to implement the programs and services nationwide;

WHEREAS, the YWCA needs the support of all civic minded citizens to enable the organization to carry on with laudable projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Young Womens Christian Association of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.1aшphi1
