AUTHORIZING THE UNITED WAY PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1205 dated April 21, 1998, authorized the United Way Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign up to April 21, 1999;

WHEREAS, the United Way Philippines, Inc., needs additional time to raise more funds for its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the United Way Philippines, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
