[ Proclamation No. 112, June 10, 1999 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 11, 1999, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL

WHEREAS, the Province of Rizal was formally established on June 11, 1901;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 702 dated November 28, 1995 declares June 11 of every year as Rizal Provincial Day or “Araw ng Lalawigan ng Rizal;

WHEREAS, the people of Rizal Province should be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with fitting ceremonies and programs that will recall their glorious past and rekindle in them deep nationalistic sentiments necessary for the task of nation-building;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Friday, June 11, 1999, as a special day in the Province of Rizal.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
