DECLARING MAY 21, 1999 AND EVERY YEAR THEREAFTER AS “ARAW NG MALABON” IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALABON, METRO MANILA

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Malabon, Metro Manila, adopted and approved Resolution No. 21-1999 dated March 1, 1999 declaring May 21 as “Araw ng Malabon”;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malabon be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare May 21, 1999 and every year thereafter as “Araw ng Malabon”. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.1aшphi1
