DECLARING A STATE OF CALAMITY IN THE CITY OF NAGA, AND IN THE PROVINCES OF CAMARINES NORTE, CAMARINES SUR, AND QUEZON

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of National Defense as Chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare a state of calamity in the City of Naga, and in the Provinces of Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Quezon, which were affected by flashfloods due to the adverse effect of Typhoon “Loleng”.

All departments and other government agencies concerned are hereby directed to implement and execute relief and rehabilitation work in accordance with existing operational plans and directives and orders issued in connection with calamities.
