[ Proclamation No. 28, October 8, 1998 ]

AUTHORIZING THE EPHPHETA FOUNDATION FOR THE BLIND, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR

WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., was authorized under Proclamation No. 878, series of 1996, to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year;

WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc. promotes, supports and encourages the improvement of the Filipino blind, whether youthful or aged, through quality projects and programs nationwide which aim to inculcate moral and human values in society;

WHEREAS, the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., seeks to enlarge its service capability and accordingly needs funds to attain this laudable objective;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Ephpheta Foundation for the Blind, Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this proclamation.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
