[ Proclamation No. 1171, August 6, 1973 ]

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 69 DATED SEPTEMBER 23, 1954, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE RESERVATION FOR GOVERNMENT CENTER SITE PURPOSES IN THE CITY OF ZAMBOANGA, PHILIPPINES, A CERTAIN PORTION OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from operation of Proclamation No. 69 dated September 23, 1954, which established the reservation for Government Center site purposes in the City of Zamboanga, a certain portion of the land embraced therein and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point marked “1” on Plan Msi-V-61297, being S. 26-29 E., 518.23 m. from MON. “A”, Zamboanga Cadastre; thence

N. 48-00 E., 3.77 m. to point 2;

S. 52-05 E., 34.35 m. to point 3;

S. 60-59 E., 51.44 m. to point 4;

S. 79-49 E., 26.87 m. to point 5;

S. 22-40 W., 28.47 m. to point 6;

S. 85-01 W., 19.79 m. to point 7;

N. 59-31 W., 103.93 m. to point 8;

S. 79-19 E., 2.86 m. to point 9;

N. 28-32 E., 33.73 m. to point 1;

point of beginning.

Containing an area of THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-NINE (3,279) SQUARE METERS —

Bounded on the NW., along line 1-2 by Madrid Street; on the NE., along lines 2-3-4-5 by Canal; on the NE., along line 5-6 by an Additional Application of Hotel Bayot; on the S., & SW., along 6-7-8 by Basilan Strait; and on the NW., along lines 8-9-1 by Lot 1277, Portion (Antonio Bayot, M.L.A. V-522).
