[ Proclamation No. 995, April 6, 1972 ]

RESERVING FOR SETTLEMENT PURPOSES OF THE NATIONAL CULTURAL MINORITIES, KNOWN AS THE MANUBO BLIT AND TASADAY, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SURALLAH AND KIAMBA, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, UNDER PANAMIN MANAGEMENT.

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, lease, exploitation or other disposition, and hereby reserve for settlement purposes of the cultural minorities, more in particular the Manubo Blit and Tasaday, under Panamin management, subject to private rights, if any there be, the final delimitation and survey, and to the provisions of Executive Order No. 113, dated May 2, 1955, a certain parcel of land of the public domain, located in the Municipalities of Surallah and Kiamba, Province of South Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, containing an area of NINETEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN (19,247) HECTARES, more or less, and more particularly described as follows:

“Beginning at a point marked “1” on the proposed Manubo-Tasaday Reservation which is identical to corner “12” of the settlement reservation under the Land Authority, Proclamation No. 550, dated 19 April 1969; thence N. 86Ί 30? E. 7,000 meters to point “2”; thence S 57Ί 00? E., 5,600 meters to point “3”; thence S 50Ί E, 3,500 meters to point “4”; thence S 7Ί W, 5,000 meters to point “5”; thence S 43Ί W, 9,500 meters to point “6”; thence N 69Ί 14? W; 8,298.67 meters to point “7”; thence N 2Ί E, 13,850 meters to point of beginning.
