[ Proclamation No. 991, March 27, 1972 ]

AUTHORIZING THE MORAL RE-ARMAMENT FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT ITS EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM MARCH 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1972.

WHEREAS, it is a vital concern of society to promote the moral well-being of our children and youth and their development into good and useful citizens and enlightened leaders of our country;

WHEREAS, civic movements designed to promote the moral upbringing of young people and to provide proper facilities for such enhancement should be encouraged and maintained; and

WHEREAS, the MORAL RE-ARMAMENT FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES carries out a program with objectives geared to these ends;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Moral Re-Armament Foundation of the Philippines to conduct an educational, membership and fund campaign from March 1 to December 31, 1972. I enjoin all citizens and other nationals to support this humanitarian movement.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
