AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS TO DISPOSE OF ITS HEADQUARTERS SITE IN ERMITA, MANILA.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) to dispose of its headquarters site at UN Avenue, Ermita, Manila, technically described in Republic Act No. 5870, through public bidding at a price not lower than an appraisal thereof by the Philippine National Bank, subject to the provisions of the Constitution and laws on the disposition of land of the private domain of the Government, and to the condition that the proceeds of the sale shall be used solely for the acquisition of a bigger site for the PNRC and construction of its new headquarters building.
