DECLARING THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 1972, AS LAUREL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS AND IN THE CITIES OF BATANGAS AND LIPA.

WHEREAS, the eighty-first birthday of the late Jose P. Laurel, patriot, jurist and statesman, falls on March 9, 1972; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus attention on the life of the late Jose P. Laurel as a fitting tribute to his unselfish efforts;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, March 9, 1972, as Laurel Day in the Province of, Batangas and in the Cities of Batangas and Lipa.1aшphi1

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
