DECLARING MARCH 16, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY

WHEREAS, Thursday, March 16, 1972, marks the fifth anniversary of the charter of the City of Davao; and

WHEREAS, the people of that city should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s his­tory;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thurs­day, March 16, 1972, as a special public holiday in Davao City.
