DECLARING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NORTHERN SAMAR.

WHEREAS, Friday, February 18, 1972, marks the charter anniversary of the Province of Northern Samar; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the Northern Samar should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their Province’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Friday, February 18, 1972, as a special public holiday in the Province of Northern Samar.
