DECLARING WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

WHEREAS, paying homage to the dead on All Saints’ Day is one of our cherished traditions; and

WHEREAS, in keeping with that tradition, the people should be given full opportunity to observe the day with all its religious fervor;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, November 1, 1972, as a special public holiday.
