MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 1085, October 23, 1972 ] EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF THE ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST AND COUNCIL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES TO DECEMBER 31, 1972. WHEREAS, the Community Chest and Council organizations in the Philippines were authorized under Proclamation No. 998 dated April 19, 1972 to conduct fund campaigns from June 1 to October 30, 1972 to support the services of their welfare agencies; and WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to extend the campaign in view of the recent calamitous floods principally in the Central Luzon this year; NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the period of the Annual Educational and Fund campaign of the Community Chest and Council organizations in the Philippines covered by Proclamation No. 998 to December 31, 1972.
