[ Proclamation No. 1084, October 11, 1972 ]

EXTENDING THE 1972 ANTI-TB EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN UP TO DECEMBER 31, 1972.

WHEREAS, the natural disaster which recently visited the Philippines had unavoidably disrupted the 1972 Anti-TB Educational and Fund Campaign authorized under Proclamation No. 1006;

WHEREAS, the services of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. are vital not only to the general public but particularly to the protection of the health of the calamity victims at their crucial hour; and

WHEREAS, it is imperative that the total goal of the campaign should be fully subscribed in order to enable the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. to cope with expected increased clamor for its humanitarian services;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the extension of the 1972 Anti-TB Educational and Fund Campaign up to December 31, 1972.
