DECLARING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CAVITE CITY.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, September 12, 1972, marks the anniversary of the execution of the Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite whose sacrifices on the altar of freedom is a source of inspiration to all Filipinos;

WHEREAS, residents of Cavite City desire to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies; and

WHEREAS, on said day the residents of Cavite City are also celebrating the charter anniversary of their city;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, September 12, 1972, as a special public holiday in Cavite City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
