DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 30, 1972, marks the birthday anniversary of Marcelo H. del Pilar, hero and patriot, and popularly known in Philippine history as “Plaridel” and;

WHEREAS, the people of Bulacan his place of birth desire to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 1972, as a special public holiday in the province of Bulacan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
