DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MANDAUE CITY.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 30, 1972, marks the anniversary of the formal organization of Mandaue City; and

WHEREAS, the people of Mandaue City desire to celebrate this milestone of their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 30, 1972, as a special public holiday in Mandaue City.
