DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 24, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MANILA

WHEREAS, Saturday, June 24, 1972, marks the 101st anniversary of the foundation of Manila as a Christian capital city; and

WHEREAS, the residents should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Saturday, June 24, 1972, as a special public holiday in the City of Manila.1aшphi1
