AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 997 DATED APRIL 13, 1972, ENTITLED “AUTHORIZING THE NARCOTICS FOUNDATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM MAY 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1972”
The third paragraph of Proclamation No. 997 dated April 13, 1972, is hereby amended to read as follows:
“NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Narcotics Foundation of the Philippines, Inc., to conduct a nationwide educational, membership and fund drive during the period from May 1 to December 31, 1972, and to further declare the week of July 24 to July 30 as “ANTI-DRUG DEPENDENCE WEEK” in order to dramatize the vital importance of our common fight against the insidious evils of drug addiction.”
