DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 1972, AS MAKATI DAY AND A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MAKATI, RIZAL

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 1, 1972, marks the founding of the Municipality of Makati, Province of Rizal; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to give the residents of this premier municipality of the Philippines the opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their town’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, June 1, 1972, as Makati Day and a special public holiday in Makati, Rizal.

Proclamation No. 1012 dated May 17, 1972, is hereby superseded.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
