DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MAY 21 TO 27, 1972, AS INDUSTRIAL MEDICINE WEEK

WHEREAS, industrial medicine plays a vital role in the Administration’s Medicare program by protecting the health and promoting the well-being of industrial workers and employees and thus enable them to participate in the fruits of production; and

WHEREAS, the Industrial Medical Association of the Philippines (IMAP) has been formed to maximize the benefits of medical care among industrial workers;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from May 21 to 27, 1972, as “Industrial Medicine Week” under the auspices of the Industrial Medical Association of the Philippines and other involved entities or organizations.
