ESTABLISHING AS TANAP WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE THE PARCEL OF PUBLIC DOMAIN PER W. R. MAP NO. 17, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BURGOS, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE.

Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement or other disposition and establish and proclaim as Tanap Watershed Forest Reserve, to protect and conserve the headwaters of Carumsi Creek, subject to private rights, if any there be, the parcel of public domain located in the Municipality of Burgos, Province of Ilocos Norte, under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry, who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said forest reservation and the cutting, collection and removal of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with forest law and regulations.

The aforementioned parcel of public domain is shown in W.R. Map No. 17, and is more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at point marked “1” on W.R. Map No. 17, Lomboy tree, identical to Corner 259, Block II, Alienable and disposable, Project No. 10;

Thence, S 36°E, about 285 meters to Corner 2, Aplas tree, identical to FZ Corner 258, Block II, Alienable and Disposable, Project No. 10;

Thence, S 14°E, about 155 meters to Corner 3; P. Sta. Concrete Mon., identical to FZ Corner 257, Block II, Alienable and Disposable, Project No. 10;

Thence, S 15°E, about 120 meters to Corner 4, Anomang tree, identical to FZ Corner 256, Block II, Alienable and Disposable, Project No. 10;

Thence, S 50°E, about 120 meters to Corner 5, anonang tree, identical to FZ Corner 255, Block II, Alienable and Disposable, Project No. 10;

Thence, following Garumsi Creek upstream in a general westerly direction about 345 meters to Corner 6, a point;

Thence, following a Creek upstream in a general southwesterly direction about 335 meters to Corner 7, Anteng tree, 35 cms. in diameter, at S side of Creek;

Thence, S 52°W, about 195 meters to Corner 8, Misc. Sp., 10 cms. in diameter on top of ridge;

Thence, S 53°W, about 220 meters to Corner 9, a point;

Thence, S 72°W, about 200 meters to Corner 10, a point;

Thence, S 67°W, about 200 meters to Corner 11, Agoho tree, 40 cms. in diameter, on top of ridge;

Thence, due north, about 200 meters to Corner 12, a point;

Thence, N 47°E, about 175 meters to Corner 13, a point;

Thence, N 43°E, about 165 meters to Corner 14, a point;

Thence, N 49°E, about 200 meters to Corner 15, a point;

Thence, N 53°E, about 190 meters to Corner 16, a pile of stones, on top of ridge;

Thence, S 37°E, about 170 meters to Corner 17, a point, N side of Creek;

Thence, N 55°E, about 185 meters to Corner 18, a point, N side of Creek;

Thence, N 41°E, about 135 meters to Corner 19, a point, N side of Creek;

Thence, N 16°E, about 150 meters to Corner 20, a point;

Thence, N 3°W, about 65 meters to Corner 21, a point;

Thence, N 68°E, about 60 meters to the point of beginning, containing an area of about forty-one (41.0) hectares, more or less.1aшphi1
