DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 1970, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AND IN THE CITY OF SAN PABLO.

WHEREAS, June 19, 1370, marks the one hundredth tenth birthday of Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Laguna, his birthplace, should at least be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Friday, June 19, 1970, as a special public holiday in the Province of Laguna and in the City of San Pablo.1aшphi1
