REVOKING PROCLAMATION NO. 256, DATED AUGUST 17, 1929, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE NON-CHRISTIAN (MANOBO) SETTLEMENT SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF LIBERTAD, MUNICIPALITY OF BUTUAN, NOW BUTUAN CITY, AND RESERVING THE AREA EMBRACED THEREIN FOR THE USE OF THE PHILIPPINE CONSTABULARY, FOR THE PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL AND FOR PROVINCIAL JAIL SITES PURPOSES

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby revoke Proclamation No. 256, dated August 17, 1929, which established the Non-Christian (Manobo) Settlement situated in the barrio of Libertad, municipality of Butuan, now Butuan City, and reserve the parcel of land embraced therein for the use of the Philippine Constabulary, for Provincial Hospital and for Provincial Jail sites purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows, to wit:

Lot No. 399-A Provincial Jail Site

Bounded on the North by Lot Public Land on the East by Lot No. 400; on the South by Lot No. 399-B; and on the West by Public Land. Containing an area of 2 hectares, more or less.

Lot No. 399-B Provincial Hospital Site

Bounded on the North by Lot No. 399-A; on the East by Lot No. 400; on the South by Lot No. 399-C; and on the West by Public Land. Containing an area of 7 hectares, more or less.1aшphi1

Lot No. 399-C Philippine Constabulary Site

Bounded on the North by Lot No. 399-B; on the East by Lot No. 400; on the South by National Road; on the Northwest portion by Public Land; and on the Southwest portion by Lot No. 398. Containing an area of 7 hectares, more or less.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 22nd day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and sixty, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fifteenth.
