MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 692, August 2, 1960 ] AMENDING PROCLAMATION NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-TWO, SERIES OF 1933, AND TWO HUNDRED FOURTEEN, SERIES OF 1937, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE MAKILING NATIONAL PARK SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF CALAMBA AND LOS BAÑOS, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA, AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTO TOMAS, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, BY TRANSFERRING THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN TO THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES FOR THE USE OF THE COLLEGE OF FORESTRY UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamations Numbered Five Hundred and Fifty-Two, series of 1933, and Two Hundred and Fourteen, series of 1937, which established the Makiling National Park situated in the municipality of Calamba and Los Baños, province of Laguna, and the municipality of Santo Tomas, province of Batangas, by transferring the administration of the land embraced therein from the Bureau of Parks and Wildlife to the Board of Regents of the University of the Philippines, for the use of the College of Forestry of the said University for forestry education and research purposes, subject to the condition that the said land shall be conserved and preserved as a National Park.
