MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 690, July 28, 1960 ] AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 30, DATED JULY 7, 1925, WHICH RESERVED FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES CERTAIN PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF STA. CRUZ, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA, BY REDUCING THE AREA RESERVED UNDER THE SAID PROCLAMATION AND DECLARING THE EXCLUDED PORTION THEREOF OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 88 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 30, dated July 7, 1925, which reserved for school purposes certain parcels of the public domain, situated in the municipality of Sta. Cruz, province of Laguna, by reducing the area reserved under the said proclamation and declaring the excluded portion thereof open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act. For purposes of clarification, the area as reduced is more particularly described as follows: Portion of lot 1271, Sta. Cruz Cadastre, Laguna for School Site Purposes A parcel of land (portion of lot 1271 of the cadastral survey of Sta. Cruz), situated in the municipality of Sta Cruz, province of Laguna. Bounded on the W., along line 1-2, by lot 1272, Sta. Cruz Cadastre; on the N., along line 2-3, by lot 1270 and along 3-4 by lot 1286, both of Sta. Cruz Cadastre; on the E.. along line 4-5, by remaining portion of lot 1271, Sta. Cruz Cadastre; and on the S., along line 5-1, by lot 1250, Sta. Cruz, Cadastre. Beginning at a point marked 1, being No. 79° 03' W., 650.97 meters from B.B.M. 14, Sta. Cruz Cadastre, thence N. 10° 12' W., 183.84 meters to point 2; thence N. 63° 49' E., 75.09 meters to point 3; thence S. 85° 39' E., 30.00 meters to point 4; and thence S. 8° 53' E., 209.41 meters to point 5; thence S. 87° 07' W., 97.21 meters to the point of beginning, containing an approximate area of 20,000 square meters, more or less.
